The first bonus web chapter has been posted!
This is the first of three bonus chapters that will be posted here. The first one, titled “Exchange Management Shell: PowerShell on Steroids” is an excellent overview of the Exchange shell. Although the entire book has plenty of Exchange shell cmdlets and examples, this is one of my favorite chapters in the book, and I’m sure you’ll like it!
Download it from the Web Chapters link.

Hello - saw the book in the TechEd store and skimmed it quickly and decided to order from Amazon… don’t so much mind the 10 bucks more the TechEd store costs, but I don’t need one more thing to lug home.
Anyway, two quick questions/comments specifically related to the Kindle version. I was glad to see this was available, however downloading a sample gets you nothing except pages of author biographies and the table of contents. Some pages of actual content would be much more useful; for the most part the preview as it is is useless in determining whether to buy the book.
Second, one of the great things about the Kindle is electronic books should be able to be updated - the new chapter released on the web and any errata would seem to be good candidates for an updated download. Any chance of this happening? I realize digital books are still a fairly new area but this is where they would excel.
Thanks for listening and hope the book is as good as my brief skimming thought it might be!
Hi Brian,
Your comment about the Kindle download has been forwarded to the publisher. I’ve had some interesting discussions about (printed) books and e-books with a few other authors and publishers this week. Yes, having e-books that can be updated would make them (and readers like the Kindle) a lot more attractive.
Thanks for buying the book - please share your feedback with us after you’ve read (enough of… ) it!
I read similar article also named d: First free web chapter - Exchange Management Shell: Powershell on steroids : Exchange Server 2007: The Complete Reference, and it was completely different. Personally, I agree with you more, because this article makes a little bit more sense for me
