Web Chapters

As one of our Exchange MVP colleagues likes to say, “You can make an Exchange MVP start writing something, but you can’t make them stop!”. Exchange Server 2007, with its breadth of features, isn’t an easy product to write for— specially for a book called “Exchange Server 2007: The Complete Reference”.

Thank you for buying the book. Richard, William and I felt that each of these chapters are of significant value to the overall book. With permission from McGraw Hill we are providing these three chapters as “Web Chapters” for you to download from this website.

Here’s the first of three “bonus” web chapters in PDF format.

1. Exchange Management Shell: PowerShell on Steroids

Web Chapter 1 was written by Brad Werner of http://www.wernerconsulting.com . Brad is one of our contributing Authors. He has done an excellent job in this chapter of not just introducing the concepts of the Exchange Management Shell and PowerShell but in going into the details of PowerShell without alienating administrators that are new to the whole concept of administering Exchange from a command line. We hope you enjoy this chapter and look forward to your feedback.

Additional chapters forthcoming!

2. Designing an Exchange Server 2007 Infrastructure

3. Transport and Routing Topologies
